The Department of Psychology aims to promote scientific understanding of human behaviour, mental processes, emotional well-being, and interpersonal relationships among students. The department offers Minor and Multidisciplinary Courses (MDC) under the FYUGP curriculum, enabling students from various disciplines to explore psychological concepts and their practical applications in everyday life. Through an interdisciplinary and learner-centred approach, the department introduces students to areas such as cognitive processes, developmental psychology, social psychology, counselling, mental health, and behavioural studies.
